MomsRising Member to Speak When Democratic Leadership, Steering & Policy Committee Holds Hearing on Republican Scheme to Cut Medicaid

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar and the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee will hold a hearing on the Republican scheme to cut Medicaid. The hearing will feature testimony from everyday Americans who will share how cuts to this essential program will have dire consequences for them and their families. Among the witnesses will be MomsRising member Christopher Dunham of Feasterville, Pennsylvania, who cares for his 16-year-old son, Will, who has complex medical needs. Medicaid provides essential support for the family. Both Will and Dunham’s wife, Maggie, will be at the hearing.
