PRESS CALL: National Nonprofit Leaders Call on Senate Dems to Vote No on Stopgap Bill
Lisa Lederer, 202/371-1996
Washington, DC (March 12, 2025)– Today at 3 PM ET, national nonprofit leaders, who focus on family and human needs, will hold a virtual press call to discuss why Senate Democrats must vote “no” on the disastrous stopgap funding bill that House Republicans passed last night. The continuing resolution (CR) passed by the House, that is now up for consideration in the Senate, will harm families and communities across the country, as well as hand Donald Trump and Elon Musk a blank check to push their extreme, anti-family agenda.
