Anti-Semitic Violence and Hate Are Repugnant and Must End

Statement from Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, Executive Director and CEO of MomsRising, the online and on-the-ground organization of more than one million mothers and their families, on the surge in anti-Semitism across the country in recent days:

“The spike in attacks against the Jewish community across our nation – the violence and vandalism against people and property, the harassment and hate in person and online – is absolutely unacceptable and it must end. Anti-Semitism is shameful and can never be tolerated. It crushes our sense of community, undermines our stability and success as a society, damages our democracy, and sears our souls.

“America’s moms stand firmly against anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and hate in all its forms, and against all those who foment them. Anti-Semitic bigotry, hate and violence are repugnant. Every human being has the right to be safe, to live in peace in a just society, to be treated with dignity and respect. We will stand up for that right, for each other, and for the peace and unity we all deserve.”
