As the Family and Medical Leave Act Turns 30 This Weekend, Moms Tell Congress: We’re Tired of Being in the Shadow. We Need Paid Leave for All, NOW

Three decades after the Family and Medical Leave Act became law, giving about three in five U.S. workers access to unpaid leave, America’s moms and families are telling Congress: We’re tired of being in the shadows. We need paid leave for all now!

On Thursday, February 2, MomsRising staff and representatives in groundhog costumes will deliver that message to Congress. The event will begin with a photo opportunity:

Following the photo opp, from 9:30 – 11 am, the MomsRising representatives will deliver messages to the office of key members of Congress.
