From health care to paid leave, immigration to fair pay, policing to reproductive and maternal care, America’s moms have a tremendous amount at stake every day. That’s why the nation’s largest and most powerful moms group has published a Mom Platform ahead of this week’s Democratic presidential debates; and many of its more than a million members across the nation will be tracking whether the candidates speak to the key areas in that platform using a Presidential Debate Bingo card.
“It’s imperative that candidates know what’s happening in our families, our lives and our communities, and what it takes to raise a family in the United States today, so they can put solutions that lift our economy and families on center stage where they belong,” said MomsRising executive director and CEO Kristin Rowe-Finkbeiner, who will attend Wednesday’s debate in Miami. MomsRising is sponsoring tweet chats during this week’s debates and a national Bingo game in English and Spanish, where members can track which of the issues are addressed during the debates.

Moms, dads, and families from across the country have lent their expertise and lived experiences to inform, craft, and build the Mom Platform. Moms have been joining conference calls, sharing stories, and filling out surveys to ensure this platform meets the high standards (and needs and demands) of families across the nation. The Mom Platform will be shared with all presidential candidates.
