MomsRising Responds to #Black Lives Matter Action During Netroots Nation’s 2016 Presidential Forum
“This weekend’s protests by #BlackLivesMatter demonstrators at the 2016 Netroots Nation Presidential Forum were important, powerful and imperative. It is critical that every candidate for President in 2016 speak to specific policies they will advance to address structural racism in our country. 
 
“Plain and simple - no one should ever have to fear that a loved one could be harmed at the hands of those charged with protection. It’s time our politicians stand up, and say unequivocally that #BlackLivesMatter.”
