MomsRising Selected for White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics Commitments to Action
“MomsRising is delighted to be among the nearly 150 public and private sector organizations that were selected to be a part of the Commitments to Action by the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics.
 
“MomsRising, including our Spanish language project MamásConPoder, is proud to say that we are launching a three-year bilingual initiative to engage Latina mothers as a grassroots force to advance quality and affordable early learning programs nationally and in their communities. We will provide leadership development opportunities for a core group of Latinas and work with them to develop and provide education and other resources to over 10 million Latinas across the U.S.  
 
“A year ago, the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics launched a Year of Action, and with it a national call for Commitments to Action in honor of its 25th anniversary. Today, we are proud to be among the organizations in the public and private sectors working to make meaningful and quantifiable contributions to expand and support the educational outcomes and opportunities for the Latino community.”
