Greetings! In celebration of Pride Month and last week's AMAZING #MarriageEquality victory in the Supreme Court, we're sharing a round-up of some of our favorite LGBTQ food bloggers. Also check out photos from our workshop at the National Baptist Convention, and some tips on how to support some of the smallest, fuzziest and most important players in our food system: pollinators! Please read and share. Have a great week!

Like Food? Thank the Bees! #NationalPollinatorWeek
We need pollinators like bees and butterflies to grow beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, peaches, strawberries, parsley, sesame, peanuts… the list goes on. But pesticides and habitat loss are threatening pollinator populations. How you can help:
1 Know your pesticides. Read the label before you spray, and know whether a product can harm pollinators.
2 Plant native plant species. Asters, sunflowers, goldenrod and more support hundreds of pollinator species.
