I am a 61 year old single mom. I have been self employed my whole life. My son and I are very healthy. After 30 years of paying for premiums that at times I could not afford, I was going to have to give up my insurance in 2013 because it came down to eat or pay for insurance.Then, the ACA insurance began and I received a subsidy and cost sharing and I literally cried because I felt my government cared about me. Having health insurance gives me peace of mind.
