FB-WWT_ex smDo you or people you know have adult children who don't have health insurance? Right now, 11.7 million young adults have gone without health insurance in the past year, although over 70% say having health insurance is important to them. For many young adults, the primary barriers to getting covered has been the high cost of coverage and confusion over the options. We've got great news! Additionally, for the first time ever, many uninsured young adults will receive subsidies to help with the cost of insurance, which makes health insurance within reach for those who cannot afford it.

Here are some resources for you and the young adults in your life about these exciting new opportunities:

There will be many more resources shared this afternoon on Twitter during a MomsRising Tweetchat from 2-3pm, followed by a Tweetchat in partnership with Young Invincibles from 3-4pm. Join us and share your experiences by using hashtag #WellnessWed.  Read more about how to follow and participate in a Tweetchat here: http://www.momsrising.org/blog/tips-on-how-to-join-a-momsrisings-tweetchat/
