Right now, Congress is working on the economic reconciliation package, which should include critical child care and Pre-K investments needed to solve the ongoing child care crisis and lower costs for families, BUT reports suggest that lawmakers are considering abandoning child care and pursuing legislation without it!

I’m so freaking mad today. Our family and families across the state with kids under the age of 5 are so close - SO CLOSE - to having vaccines for our kids. But thanks to Governor DeSantis, Florida families are going to have to wait even longer. Florida is the only state that did not meet the deadline to order the new, COVID-19 vaccines for children under the age of 5 to be shipped when approved, which is expected in days. You read that right. The ONLY state.

MomsRising has moved to a 4-day work week for the summer from June. 17th - Sept. 2nd, 2022. In order for our whole team to fully utilize "Summer Fridays", we are shutting down on Fridays and will only be available and responding to messages Monday-Thursday.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, papas, pop-pops, g-pops. My little one calls me dada, I wear the badge proudly. This is Father’s Day #2 for your boy and I cannot express how excited I am. I’m in disbelief that I have a 1 year old already. Time has passed so quickly.

The infant formula shortage has been going on for months now and we just learned that most states are experiencing a 74% out-of-stock rate, with 10 states seeing even higher rates near 90%.
