The Microbusiness Mom - America's Microbusiness Expert (www.MicroBusinessMom.com) is Gina Robison-Billups -- CEO, author, popular speaker, owner of multiple microbusinesses, and mother of two. Gina has walked the path of microbusiness ownership and knows what it's like to be strapped, struggling, alone, and ultimately successful in your dream of entrepreneurship.
As the founder and CEO of The National Association For Moms In Business - the nation's leading association representing Entrepreneurial, Executive and CEO moms, Gina has spent the last six years supporting, educating, serving and representing the needs of business moms.
Gina meets audiences - mainstream American business owners - right where they are in their entrepreneurial journey. 50% of America's business owners are home-based businesses and 85% of all registered businesses in the U.S. are "microbusiness" - meaning they have 5 or less employees and $500,000 or less in annual income. Gina helps give these business owners sound marketing, business and balance habits and tips that are do-able and will help them create the business and lifestyle of their dreams and the freedom they desire.
Her work with home based business owners and mom business owners has earned her the title of the "Home Based Business Advocate" for the state of Nevada in 2003 and 2007 from the Small Business Administration, and she was named as a national finalist for The Women's Congress 2008 Champion for Women Awards. Gina is also the Co-Chair of the National Healthcare Committee for Women Impacting Public Policy. She serves to help bring a voice microbusiness owners, particularly women-owned, through her work with WIPP as well as serving in partnerships with CARE.org, MomsRising.org, MomsVoteMatters.org, Create Your Dreams Awards, and the SBE Council. Gina is also the founder and board member of The International Association of Working Mothers.
