The California Children’s Health Coverage Coalition is pleased to invite you to join a webinar to walk through a California Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Renewal Playbook on May 4, 2017 at 2pm.

Congress must act soon to renew the successful Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) before current funding for the program expires on September 30, 2017. In California, federal CHIP funding is an extremely important source of Medi-Cal coverage for children and pregnant women. Join us as we discuss a CHIP Renewal Strategy, including an advocacy Playbook for California stakeholders.

This webinar and shared Playbook will help California stakeholders:

·         Learn about the federal Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), the critical role it plays for children and families, the upcoming funding cliff absent federal action on CHIP, and what is at stake for California; and

·         Be empowered to participate in CHIP advocacy strategies, including tips on how to talk to decision-makers about renewal of CHIP funding.

Register for the May 4th webinar athttps://www.eventbrite.com/e/chip-advocacy-webinar-tickets-33832118778

In addition, please also join First Focus and other leading stakeholders in asign-on letter to congressional leaders urging Congress to act quickly to enact a long-term extension of the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). CHIP must be a top priority, so all interested local, state or national stakeholders are encouraged to sign-on by May 3rd!
