I am a lifelong Cape Cod, MA resident. I worked in retail for several years while completing my associate’s degree at Cape Cod Community College.  Once I started at UMass Dartmouth I also started working in banking.  My junior year of college I had my first child with my now husband Kyle.  We struggled for a while, both working, me still going to school while raising our daughter in his parent’s basement.  After nearly two years of putting in offers on homes and constant disappointment the stars aligned in 2017. Within four months (2/17-5/17) I purchased our first home, graduated from UMass and married Kyle.  It was the best year of my life.  Although the home we bought needed and still needs significant work we are humbled to own it and not be forced into a vicious renting cycle like so many our age.  Last summer we welcomed our second child, Kyle.  We both work very hard every day to provide in one way or another for our family.  I spend my time caring for my family as well as serving on several committees and doing my best to be involved with my community.
