Julia Tucker is a seasoned non–profit professional with over 10 years of audit and accounting experience. Before moving to MomsRising, she was the Senior Accounting Manager at the Bainum Family Foundation in Bethesda, MD, where she worked with the Sr. Director of Finance to lead the Finance department. She played a central role in implementing financial systems and processes, supporting multiple subsidiary transitions, executing the annual audit, tax, internal and external reporting, as well as overseeing daily accounting operations to support corporate services and program initiatives.

Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Business and Management from the University of Maryland, and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

She lives in the greater Washington DC area with her husband and 2 children. In her spare time, she loves to sing and spend time with her family.
