This cartoon was inspired by a conversation with a colleague of mine, a really great person. Unfortunately, he had gotten most of his info about the ACA from a certain animal named news source. I shared my story about getting affordable health coverage and told him the truth about how the ACA is helping people. I shared information to help his son sign up for insurance through the health exchange.
Days later he wrote to thank me. His son was now covered under an affordable plan and qualified for tax credits through the health exchange. Good news all around!
