I am one of the fortunate people who have a daycare at my place of employment. I can't tell you how much of a benefit that is for me. It is so valuable to have direct access to my child any time during the day whether it is to visit, have lunch, watch her play, or be there immediately if there is a problem. The cost is subsidized by the company so it makes the cost of childcare more reasonable. It save me time and money and most importantly, allows me extra time with my child because both my husband and I need to work in order to support the family.
