Marty Ford is the Senior Executive Officer for Public Policy for The Arc of the United States, a national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. She has 29 years of experience in federal public policy affecting people with disabilities, particularly long term services and supports, Medicaid, and Social Security disability issues. Ms. Ford served for three years as Chairperson of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD), a coalition of over 110 national organizations; on its Board of Directors for 12 years; and for many years as Co-Chair of various CCD Task Forces. She is a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance. Ms. Ford received her law degree from George Washington University.
