Julie Day was an active member of The Children’s Place and Parent Education Center in Concord, NH for many years. She later held the volunteer Vice President of Fundraising position and served as a parent representative on the Family Support New Hampshire Board of Directors. In 2013, she became credentialed as an Early Childhood Master Professional: Allied Professional and now Julie co-chairs the NH Strengthening Families Leadership Team and chairs the Spark NH Family Engagement Task Force. Julie is the NH lead and coordinator of the "Bringing Protective Factors to Life" online training of the National Alliance of Children's Trust and Prevention Funds and the Center for the Study of Social Policy. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Springfield College and joined the Children’s Trust in 2007. She lives in Bow with her husband and their three children.

My story begins 17 years ago. I had the most beautiful baby boy. He loved life. He loved people. He had big blue eyes and a big toothless grin and an even bigger heart.
