This week the MomsRising universe cranked up the MOMentum for paid leave and child care. Check out how, plus join us (it's not too late!) for a sweet celebration of Indigenous Peoples' Day.
Keep rising!
ACTION OF THE WEEK: Other countries support care, why don't we?
Last week the NY times shared shocking statistics about early child care support in the United States. It turns out rich countries contribute an average of $14,000 per year for a toddler’s care, compared with just $500 in the U.S. Building a care infrastructure is key to changing these shameful numbers. Take action to urge our Congress to support kids and families by passing care infrastructure (including child care, paid family medical leave and the CTC) ASAP!
