August 28th marks the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s historical “I Have a Dream” speech. Not only is this a time for celebration, it's also a time to reflect on the work ahead of us to fulfill Dr. King’s vision for social justice, equal economic opportunity, and racial healing.
It is in this spirit that we present to you this blog carnival, “Moms Get Real About Race in America: A MomsRising Blog Carnival in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Civil Rights March on Washington."
