I am a retired physician doing literature research on health and climate change. I give talks and write about the health effects of climate change which are extremely important. These include (sadly): reduced agricultural and ocean harvests, more difficulty obtaining fresh water, wildfires causing more air pollution, spread of insect-borne infectious disease, forced migrations due to extreme heat and rising sea levels, more droughts and floods, and more powerful tropical storms.

Climate destabilization is devastating our world . Wildfires consume California; larger and more powerful tropical storms threaten our Caribbean and Atlantic coasts. There are more spring floods in the US Midwest and droughts in the Mediterranean basin and the Western US.
