Jen Consilvio joined the MomsRising Team in November 2023 as its Executive Finance Director.
She started her career in the advocacy world with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), where she spent 18 years. After filling various roles within the Administration and Finance Department, Jen became the ACLU's CFO in 2017, . As the ACLU’s CFO, she oversaw an operating budget of $275 million and an investment portfolio of $500 million. She also led the organization’s financial planning during its rapid expansion after the 2016 presidential election–where the organization saw its membership quadruple in size and its operating budget double.
Jen then served as CFO for Uncommon Schools from January 2019 through November 2023 where she oversaw and operating budget of ~$450 million and real estate portfolio of ~$400 million. At Uncommon, she secured financing for three new school facilities providing state of the art buildings for public charter schools students in Rochester, NY, Camden, NJ and Boston, MA.
Jen also served in the Peace Corps in Niger, West Africa after graduating from college, where she worked on resource conservation and micro-loan projects. She received her M.S., Financial Statement Analysis from CUNY-Baruch College, and her B.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.
Jen lives in NJ and enjoys engaging in outdoor activities - especially going hiking and going to the beach - with her son and twin daughters.
