Katrina holds a degree in Public Affairs/Urban Policy Management with a minor in Fine Art from Wayne State University. She is a Master of Public Administration candidate and a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for Public Administration. A lifelong learner, Katrina is passionate about the importance of local politics and enjoys researching and continuing to educate herself, particularly in the areas of equity and access to education, healthcare, and voter rights. She is an avid gardener, reader, and music enthusiast. Katrina resides in the metro-Detroit area and enjoys the natural beauty of her home state --- particularly the Great Lakes.
