Lauren Hipp is the National Director of Early Learning and Washington State for MomsRising.org. She brings over a decade of experience in the early learning field doing policy, advocacy and organizing, philanthropy, and policy and program implementation in both Washington state and nationally. She holds a Masters of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington.

What's your funniest mom moment (either as a mom, or with a mom!)?  

“I took my infant son to a meeting along with MomsRising members and their kids with a legislator about early learning and paid family leave.  After the legislator expressed support for the policies, my son slammed his hand down on the table and exclaimed ‘yah!’ -- pint sized advocate in training!”
