A seasoned advocate, Sandy Oxley brings a diverse background of public health, child welfare and policy experience to her role as Chief Executive Officer. Sandy, an exceptional leader with expertise in children’s health policy, legislative and administrative advocacy and building statewide networks has held leadership positions with Tobacco Free Ohio and The Center for Child and Family Advocacy. In these roles, she was responsible for monitoring state and federal legislation; identifying trends and emerging issues; and enhancing relationships with community partners, opinion leaders and state and federal elected officials. Sandy is most proud of her work leading to Ohio’s passage of Medicaid presumptive eligibility for women and children and the expansion of healthcare access to 275,000 of Ohio’s uninsured through the extension of Medicaid to individuals up to 138% of poverty.
