Halloween is a big deal in our house. We hang ghosts in our trees, tell spooky stories, and have fun making scary costumes.

Know what scares me even more than Halloween? Letting other people make big decisions with long-term impacts that affect my family. That's no treat.

Next Tuesday is election day in Pennsylvania and it's an important moment for moms to make our voices heard about issues that matter to Pennsylvania families. Make your plan to vote today!

On November 3, Pennsylvania voters will elect three judges who will serve 10-year terms on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. These judges and the rest of the court will decide how laws are applied, and will affect every Pennsylvanian’s everyday life.

The court makes important decisions around issues including:

  • the environment, including oil drilling regulations and air quality
  • voting, including how voting districts are drawn
  • our economy, including around subsidies for corporations, and
  • education in our state

Pretty important, right? Not voting for people who represent my interests on these important issues doesn't just scare me, it terrifies me.

Join me in voting next Tuesday, November 3rd! Today's a great time to look up your polling place, and make any arrangements necessary to make it to the polls. Polls are open from 7am-8pm.

Here are some resources to help:

I get scared easily. I look behind the shower curtain, check under the bed, and am jolted by every bump in the night. But no witch, goblin or ghoul can scare me more than the prospect of not using my voice to speak out about issues that matter. Join me at the polls next Tuesday.

Thank you for joining me to make our voices heard in Pennsylvania! Together, we are powerful.
