Your voice, our voices together, and our votes, make a BIG difference over time!
BOOM! Yesterday was proof positive that your voice, our voices together, and our votes, make a BIG difference over time!
We were at the White House bringing member stories, petition signatures, and priorities forward as we also celebrated — along with many colleagues — the one year anniversary of the Inflation Reduction Act which lowers health care costs for families, begins to address the climate crisis, brings manufacturing back, helped create more jobs in two years alone than any other administration has in four years, expands access to needed prescriptions, and pays for this all by starting to fix our broken tax system and making sure the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes.
Your voices, votes, and persistence made this happen. Thank you.
Victories are rarely easy. Real change doesn’t happen quickly. It takes time, persistence, and hope. And now it’s time to use the power of persistence and embrace all our hope in continuing to call for the Care Infrastructure that hard-working families and our economy need (and most other nations already have), including: Paid Family & Medical Leave, Child Care, Elder Care & Disability Care, and Maternal Health Equity, as well as WIC and SNAP.
Day by day, week by week, vote by vote, we’re an unstoppable, powerful force. Never forget that we can (and do!) — and will — create big victories together.
