Women who serve in the military have complete pay parity.  Even in a world where women and men in uniform work, train, fight, and unfortunately some died together, equal pay remains constant.  The civilian world could learn a great deal about how much better an organization can perform when pay is fair and equal for all.  The challenge comes when women leave the military and now try to find that same dynamic in the corporate world.  Today, a woman veteran seeking employment can expect to make $10,000 less than her male veteran counterpart and $10,000 a year buys child care, a mortage, a car or a higher standard of living.   We wonder why women veterans are at risk for homelessness—it is simple economics!
