Barack Bingo - The Power of ONEsies - The Power of Moms
It's time to bingo with Barack tonight. The Power of ONEsie display was a smashing success at the Democratic Convention yesterday. Wow. Let's keep the energy going, and keep the voices of moms in the spotlight.
Break out your Prez Bingo Cards (see link below) to tally Sen. Barack Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention tonight. Next week we'll tally Sen. McCain. Sen. Obama's speech will happen tonight around 10 PM ET/9 CT/8 MT/7 PT--and will be on televisions across the nation.
Join in the fun, play Bingo with kids, tally his speech, then share your bingo tallies online (see link below). We'll be sharing the bingo tallies with the media and candidates to let them know that moms are paying attention, moms vote, and our issues must stay front and center.
There are two easy steps to playing MomsRising Prez Candidate Bingo:
1. Get & print out your MomsRising Presidential Bingo card here: http://momsrising.org/bingocards
2. Share your bingo tallies & thoughts after you watch Sen. Obama's speech TONIGHT at this link: www.momsrising.org/candidatesbingo
Forward this email & invite friends and family to play too. A massive number of moms playing Bingo & sharing scores shows the candidates that real people are paying attention to--and tallying!--where they stand on family-friendly issues. And thus, playing something as fun as bingo will help remind the candidates to keep (or put) family issues as a top priority.
Here's How it Works: Just download the bingo card from the easy link above, watch Sen. Obama's acceptance speech TONIGHT around 10 PM ET/9 CT/8 MT/7 PT, score the speech on our bingo card, and report back your bingo scores on the "Share" MomsRising website link above. Then we'll do the same with Sen. McCain's acceptance speech next week and compare the results.
Who scores better: Obama or McCain? Do tell! - Kristin, Joan, Mary, Katie, Laura, and the MomsRising Team
P.S. The Power of ONEsie display at the Democratic Convention yesterday was a huge success! Thank you for the amazing onesie submissions from all over the nation. Katie was there and reports, "The Power of ONEsie display at the Democratic Convention was fantastic. There were tons of moms, dads, and kids, as well as countless reporters and TV cameras. We were so proud to be carrying the messages from moms around the country to the very center of political discourse in America this week. Moms voices were heard! We can't wait to do the same thing at the Republican Convention next week."
