When I was young, I relished summer. It was full of friends, laughter, and fun. It was a time when I could wake up late and relax. Yet, for many children this is not the case. For 1 in 5 children today, summertime means hunger. And, no child should grow up hungry in America.

Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in America by connecting kids in need with nutritious food. They are also teaching families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.
Join us! Share your resources and learn a few tips and tricks that will make this summer spectacular for all kids. Because, together, we can surround kids with healthy food where they live, learn and play.
To join and follow the conversation on Twitter use the #FoodFri Hashtag in each tweet.
You can also follow the chat on Twubs.com/FoodFri. Twubs allows you to follow MomsRising’s registered hashtags by creating an account. Below I have noted the steps.
- Create an account using an email or your Twitter account.
