Looking for tips on how to eat more fruits & veggies? Join the #FoodFri Plant-Based Diet Chat!
This week @MomsRising has an exciting (and tasty!) #FoodFri tweetchat. Joined by CSPI and others, we will share resources and answer questions about plant-based diets, and provide tips on how to eat more fruits, vegetables, and beans.
A plant-based diet consists of foods from plants, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans, with few or no animal products. But what are the benefits? How many fruits and vegetables should you eat? These and other questions will be asked and answered during the chat!
Follow along as @MomsRising gets answers! Join us on Friday, July 28, 2017, between 1 - 2pm EST by using the hashtag #FoodFri.
Feel free to share your tips and questions during the chat. We're excited to hear from YOU.
And don't forget to invite a friend (or two!) by clicking below.

More about our #FoodFri Featured Co-Host(s):
Since 1971, CSPI has been a strong advocate for nutrition and health, food safety, alcohol policy, and sound science.
Founded by executive director Michael Jacobson, Ph.D. and two other scientists, CSPI carved out a niche as the organized voice of the American public on nutrition, food safety, health and other issues during a boom of consumer and environmental protection awareness in the early 1970s. CSPI has long sought to educate the public, advocate government policies that are consistent with scientific evidence on health and environmental issues, and counter industry’s powerful influence on public opinion and public policies.
