Tuesday was a great day for mom power! Seattle MomsRising members brought their questions, ideas, and littlest learners with them to meet with Seattle City Council Member Tim Burgess and staff to discuss the current Seattle Preschool for All proposal. And we brought the cookies!
Council Member Burgess shared details of the recently-released plan and MomsRising members shared their questions and experiences with finding affordable, high-quality early learning opportunities for their children.
Council Member Burgess has been a strong champion for early learning and increasing access to high-quality early learning opportunities for all of Seattle's littlest learners. The proposal was released last week and you can find the proposal details here.
