The Food Research and Action Center (FRAC) has created a Plan of Action to End Hunger In America. Their innovative plan offers concrete solutions to a very real and growing problem.
In the United States, hunger and food insecurity has been steadily increasing. Federal nutrition programs help millions of low-income Americans get access to healthy food, but it is not enough.
"Federal nutrition programs alone cannot carry the burden. Unless employment levels and wages rise substantially, and working schedules, benefits, and work supports improve, we cannot solve hunger.” - Plan of Action to End Hunger In America
