When I invite guests on "The Mojo Mom Podcast," I try to choose authors and newsmakers who would be interesting to MomsRising.org supporters. As far as I know, my show is the only podcast to focus on the intersection of motherhood, power, work and leadership. The next three episodes shows feature new interviews you won't want to miss, starting with this week's guest, Leslie Bennetts, author of "The Feminine Mistake."

I've had substantial disagreements with the controversial new book "The Feminine Mistake" and I thought it would be interesting to talk one-on-one with author Leslie Bennetts. She's certainly uncompromising in her approach. The episode is now available for streaming or download. I hope you will listen to the interview and form your own reaction to Bennetts' reporting about motherhood, career, and financial risk. I invite you to post your thoughts on my Mojo Mom blog entry dedicated to resposes to this interview.
This Friday's next episode will feature my interview with Arianna Huffington, discussing her thoughts "On Becoming Fearless." This interview is part of her MotherTalk blog tour and related "Fearless Friday" activities on April 27th.
The May 4 show will bring you my talk with longtime CNN executive Gail Evans, author of "She Wins, You Win." Evans teaches women how to collaborate in a work environment but I think her advice applies very well to the community of women at large. I don't know if she's ever written specifically about "the Mommy Wars" but I believe she lays out the ingredients for a more prodctive teamwork approach in her book.
While you're visiting The Mojo Mom Podcast Archive, be sure to listen to my recent interview with MomsRising.org's own "Naptime Activists" Cooper and Emily (March 2, 2007), and last year's chat with MomsRising founders Joan and Kristin (June 2, 2006).
