Kat Lundie is a State and Local Policy Analyst based out of NILC’s DC office. Shortly after November of 2016, Kat quit her cushy job at a litigation law firm to go back to school and join the progressive movement - specifically to fight for immigrant rights and racial social justice. She is deeply passionate about her work on the Protecting Immigrant Families Campaign where she helps develop and field-test community education materials on public charge and immigrant access to benefits programs. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in public policy at the George Washington University focusing on immigration policy and communications.
