Meg Booth is the Director of Policy, managing CDHP's efforts to improve the health and health care systems for children. She worked with federal and state partners to secure a dental benefit in CHIPRA and the Affordable Care Act, creating the foundation to improve the oral health of children across the country.
Ms. Booth has educated policymakers on children’s health issues at the local, state, and national levels. Prior to joining CDHP in 2006, she was a policy analyst for children's special health care needs and early childhood issues at the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs. She also worked to help strengthen enrollment of children in public health care programs in North Carolina and in Iowa, where she helped develop the state's Title V Block Grant application and its Medicaid and CHIP outreach strategies.
Ms. Booth holds a bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Northern Iowa. She earned a Master's in Public Health from the Department of Maternal and Child Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
