Great news!
MomsRising member, Emily, says signing up for health insurance was easy, “I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but when I got to healthcare.gov it turned out to be very user friendly and it only took me 30 to 40 minutes to sign-up. And that's because I was taking my time.”
Emily, a young woman who manages a middle school mentoring program in Florida, has been telling us for the last several months how important it is to her to get covered. Now, not only will Emily have peace of mind of being covered, but she also says she stands to save at least 500 to 800 dollars a year!
We heard from Emily and now it’s time to hear from you!
Tell MomsRising how shopping on marketplace has gone for you! We’ll share your experiences with decision makers and, if you’re having trouble, we can work with you to make sure you get enrolled just like Emily: http://www.momsrising.org/member_stories/submit
You’re the expert–Tell us how the marketplace is working!
Hearing about your experiences, the good and the bad, gives us the information we need to tell leaders what’s going well and what still needs work.
During the first weeks of October, MomsRising reported glitches in real time as members shared them as part of our efforts to get families signed up. We continue to be committed to sharing your news with decision makers so we can get you, and others, covered.
If you have good news, we want to celebrate with you (I have a special “happy dance” on reserve for this very occasion). If you still haven’t been able to sign-up, we want to make sure you’re getting all the support we can offer to help you get covered and have your own “I’m Covered” happy dance.
Good or bad—we want to hear about it: http://www.momsrising.org/member_stories/submit
We have until December 15th to make sure people are covered by January 1st. Help us figure out how close, or how far, we are from our goal by teaching us about your experience on signing up for new, affordable healthcare coverage.
