Join MomsRising at Dayton City Hall on Oct. 19th to thank the city!
I’m flying into Dayton on October 19th to join local parents and residents at Dayton City Hall to thank Mayor Nan Whaley and the Dayton City Commissioners for being early learning champions!
Can you meet us there and bring your kids, friends, and family?
We have a GIANT thank you card for Mayor Nan Whaley and Dayton City Commissioners to thank them and send a strong message that early education and care are a priority for Dayton residents.Leaders in Dayton are doing great work on early education and care, but they can’t do it alone. And they need a strong showing of public support to do more.
By sharing your thanks, we'll show Mayor Nan Whaley and each City Commissioner that ensuring children have quality, affordable early learning opportunities is popular and they should keep at it!
When: October 19th at 5:45pm
Where: City Hall, 101 W 3rd Street, Dayton, Ohio
What: Hand-deliver a giant “Thank You” card signed by families across Dayton to the Mayor and city leaders with other MomsRising volunteers in person.
Who: Families in the Dayton area (that means YOU if you are in the area. Come as you are - there’s no need to dress up or read up on the issue! Your presence is enough.) **kids and babies are welcome and encouraged!

Our gathering is a fun, powerful way to thank the city’s leadership. And by joining us, you’ll be representing the dozens Dayton parents who signed the open letter, but couldn’t make it in person.
