This is an important election year in North Carolina. In addition to a high profile US Senate race, North Carolinians will be voting on members of Congress, the entire NC General Assembly, members of the NC Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, and District Courts as well as a number of local races.

The voices and votes of moms are powerful, but only if we use them!  We’ve compiled a number of resources to help NC moms be engaged voters this year. 

Dates:

Oct. 10 - Deadline to register to vote in general election. Due to new voting laws, you will no longer be allowed to register and vote during the early voting period.

Oct. 23 - Nov. 1 - Early voting period for general election

Oct 28 - Last day to request absentee ballot for general election

TUESDAY, NOV. 4 - ELECTION DAY (polls open 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.)

If you aren’t sure of your voter information, you can look it up on the North Carolina Board of Elections website.

Throughout the voting period, we’re encouraging our members to share tweets about why you vote and pictures of your own voting traditions on Twitter at #WeVote.  Join in the fun and encourage other moms in your life to make sure they vote this year, too!
